about Man Church
MAN CHURCH will encourage men to be servant leaders in their homes - recognizing that, in Christ, all are equal, and all should be loved. MAN CHURCH will teach men how to love God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength.

MAN CHURCH...

...is a place where men are motivated, taught and inspired to be Spiritual Leaders.
...is a place where men who are hurting can come to be helped by other men who have been there.
...is a place where men can be real - and admit to themselves that they don’t have it all together.
...is a place where men can laugh and have fun.
...is a place where we take God and things of God seriously, but not ourselves.
...is a place where we can have honest discussions about issues all men face.
...is a place where you can bring your un-churched friends and they can see that Christian men are normal.

THE GUY WHO STARTED IT ALL

Greg Beauchamp
Greg Beauchamp was born in Abilene, Texas, but was raised by penguins following a childhood boating accident. He graduated from Abilene Christian University, where he learned that not all issues can be reduced to black or white. He was a pastor for a church, but isn't now; was the CEO of a health care company, but isn't now; was a producer of corporate entertainment, where he once rode an elevator to the top of the Empire State Building. He currently trades on-line in the stock market. He lectures frequently to his children on a variety of subjects. He enjoys golf and hunting, despite the painful memories. If you have to describe him in one word it would be "crazy" or "trouble" or "not as funny as he thinks."

Here is the spiritual part: Greg loves God with all his heart, and knows that, were it not for Jesus, he would be in deep doo-doo. He is the worst sinner at Man Church, and needs Man Church badly. In fact, Man Church is for Greg - if others want to come, that's fine with him.

His wife, The Lovely, cannot remember why she married him and doesn't know why she's stayed with him for twenty years. Greg has three kids, and if you really want to know anything about him, ask them. Greg teaches an ABF at LakePointe, teaches Promise Makers groups, started Man Church, and considers himself thinner than he really is. Greg has five friends. He'd have more, but most people have better things to do. To limit future inquiry, here are answers to some of the more frequently asked questions:

(a) Emperor, not King.

(b) Yes it was cold, but I had a sweater.

(c) Sushi.
